I haven’t written for quite some time now. Sometimes didn’t get the time to write and sometimes didn’t feel like writing. And the days have been strange in many ways; mostly with things not happening the right way (not for me at least).
One of my very good friends had to give me his external hard disk which I said I will keep with me for about a month or so and he had agreed. He gave it to me one day but the next day took it back saying one of his friends needs it just for the weekend and that I can have it on Monday. I said fine. On Monday he got busy with some work and on Wednesday he had to go out of town for a couple of days. He forgot to bring it on Tuesday and promised to give it on Friday; but he again forgot.
Another very good friend of mine had to give me a software. He said he has it with a friend and will collect it from him before the weekend so that I can have it from him on the weekend. I said fine. I will manage it with a trial version till then. On Friday when I called him he said that he didn’t have it as he thought I didn’t need it and that he didn’t take my words that seriously. All I could say was "What"
Then another friend of mine had made plans for movie a couple of times and lunch. The movies never happened as she got busy on weekends and the lunch also never happened. And there were the plans…
Last Friday went for dinner with some friends from my previous office. We were having a good time when suddenly one of them got a call from his brother-in-law that his(my friend’s) sister has fallen ill and he had to rush to attend her leaving the dinner as the starters were being served. And talk of having a good time……
Office has also been keeping me very busy lately – trying to learn a new technology as well as brushing up the old one; add to it the project work and some trainings.
It’s good to be busy but then is it really so good?
Didn’t feel like writing and ended up writing this post.
It’s kind of similar to what my current gtalk status says “These days I am quite not me”
